Saana Fell, Northern Lapland 🇫🇮 We wrapped up our trip with a little extra drama — climbed Saana Fell to get a proper look at where we’d been. That view? Unreal 😍 Full 360° — Finland, Sweden, Norway — all in one sweep. Also, the wind. “Huipulla tuulee,” as they say in Finnish — and oh yes, it really did. Samu was not impressed. He’s 7, and hiking “just for the view” is basically nonsense in his world. He needed a reason. A mission. And then — magic happened! He found a random broken stick at the trailhead. 🤩 Suddenly we were on a sledding expedition. Motivation - the higher you go, the longer the slide down - was unlocked. Simply genius 😜 He ran up that mountain like it owed him candy. All thanks to our the legendary climbing-sliding stick.
