Nordic Walking Finland 20 years

The 20th Anniversary Celebrations of Nordic Walking in Finland, August 4-6, 2017.

The 20th Anniversary Celebrations of Nordic Walking will be held – naturally – in its homeland Finland from 4th to 6th August, 2017.

The event is part of the official "Suomi Finland 100" programme to celebrate the centenary of Finland’s independence in 2017.

There will be an International Nordic Walking Congress of two days in Espoo for scientists, Nordic Walking Coaches, Trainers and Instructors, for all Nordic Walking enthusiasts, for everybody interested in Nordic Walking.

And then the Celebration Event "Nordic Walk Finland" at Paloheinä, Helsinki, where the Nordic Walking boom started in 1997.

Nordic Walk Finland the 6th of August 

Suomen Latu in co-operation with ICNW will host a free-for-all Nordic Walking event. The event will take place the 6th of August 2017 at 11am-3pm at the outdoor resort of Paloheinä. The event is a celebration of 20 years of Nordic Walking in its area of origin. Take part in the 3km, 5km or 10km routes, park gymnastics and activities such as posture tests, step tracking and tips to Nordic Walking.

Nordic Walk Finland is an outstanding opportunity to exercise together with other people and to improve your walking technique. Join us in enjoying a day in the refreshing outdoors.
